Snowball Truffles Recipe

  1. Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer, just before boiling.
  2. Finely chop the dark chocolate and place it in a large mixing bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Stir gently until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
  3. Allow the chocolate mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 2 hours or until it firms up.
  4. Using a teaspoon, scoop portions of the chocolate mixture and roll them into small balls between your palms, about the size of a walnut.
  5. Spread the desiccated coconut on a plate. Roll each truffle in the coconut, ensuring an even coating.
  6. Arrange the truffles on a tray or plate. Store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 days or freeze them in an airtight container for up to a month.
